My mentor, (Lee Peterson) called to my attention that not only was it Full Moon but the Full Moon rising would be simultaneously with the SunSet….. WOW…. so I scurried around trying to capture some elements of these beautiful sights as best I could with my broken shoulder/broken spirits….and found some delight in what I gathered…. please enjoy!
What are some Myths behind Full Moons?
– Stare at a full moon closely and you will see a boy and his dog burning brush.
– Another rendition says to use a magnifying glass and look at the full moon, you will see a woman with a dog burning brush.
– It is said that if a young girl holds a silk hankie at the face of
the full moon, desiring to know when she will be married, the number of
moons appearing, will indicate the number of years she shall wait.
Good Luck:
– If you marry during the Full Moon, you will have good luck and good fortune.
– Children born on a full moon, will be strong.
Bad Luck:
– You will fail, if you try to commit robbery on the third day of a full moon.
