Why is it important to give children sufficient time to express themselves in their own words?

• Giving children confidence and self esteem.
• Encouraging independence.
• Children can express their feelings and views.
• Encourages socialising skills.
• Gives children choice.
• Showing we understand their needs

Tame the rudeness and own self importance of modern day habits and give others a chance to express appropriate emotions at appropriate times…. it's a healthy GOOD thing towards a Balanced Lifestyle.

Listening is a skill ….. if you can't do it you can always take a class…but you would have to learn to listen in class to get the knowledge base in order to "practice" listening skills… a lost art in today's society apparently.
